Testing Tool: Bugasura - Testing Assistant and Saves Time in Reporting [Exploratory Testing]

Bugasura helps web and mobile app testing in ways that it saves plenty of testing and reporting time.

Recently, I have been using Bugasura for Web App Testing.

To Access Bugasura, first we need to create an account or Login with Google.

If you are working on different projects or Teams, you can use Add different Teams.

When you click on Plus Icon, and If you are the website you are testing. It will capture the URL.

For this testing, I have used online website "BEETA KHANNA".

When you click on Next, It will display to enter the Title for the Test.

Mission of Testing:

When we click on Continue, It gives two options for Type of Testing:

Now, When I click on Exploratory.

Note: I have not explored how Test Case Driven works.
Here, we would enter the Test Flow to Start Testing.
Currently, Test Flow Name allows only 20 Characters.

Once we start testing, It would record  the Screen and Timer Starts running.

We can pause the recording, when you wish to do!

we have multiple options, when we click on Test Flow Name.

A. Bug

B. Pass

C. Next Test Flow  (Other Test Flows as part of Mission)

D. End the Session (Mission of Testing)

If you find a bug, you can click on Bug Option and Then annotate and record the steps immedidately.

Once passed, we can move to the next flow.

We can End the Session, once testing flows are completed.

When we click on Bugasura Icon, It displays the Summary of the Test Performed.

Flows Tested = 2
Screenshots = 12  (It automatically captured the screenshots)
Bugs = 1
Pass = 1

Once logged in, you can see the report.

Once logged in, we can go to the Team and Desktop Web

Mouse hover on the Project to access Test Plans or Build.

When we click on Bug list, It will display observation details.

When we click on Report, It will display Report Link.

Bug Summary captures all entered details along with Browser Details (Name, Version, OS Version, Resolution).

Bug Flow records the flow of the bug in .gif format and can be played.

We can also download the Image and Bug Flow.

Reports are shareable and can be accessed without Login to Bugasura.

We can push the bug directly to Jira with Jira Credentials:

Bug Synced to Jira Software. For Testing Purpose, I have created Jira account in 5 mins.

Bug Details entered in Bugasura are Synced to Jira.

The Features I like the most:
  • Test Data
  • Recording as you test
  • You can pause the recording (This helps a lot, if you would like to switch between other tabs)
  • You can mark the Flow - PASS and Annotate the Screenshot
  • You can capture the Bug and Annotate the Screenshot
  • Continue to Next Flows
  • Ending the Flow and Reporting the Bug Directly to JIRA (with Permissions)
  • Share the Report with anyone.
